A pair of aged ormolu-mounted sèvres-style turquoise-ground porcelain vases and cover, both painted with mythological scenes of the Vulcan presenting Venus with arms for Aeneas after the painting of François Boucher 1757, within a richly gilt raised paste seeded cartouche with musical trophy, the reverse with landscape scene, the shoulder flanked by upright acanthus-scroll handles suspending rings, with bottleneck form enriched with gild foliate pattern with musical trophy and encircled with ormolu laurel wreath, surmounted with gilt ornamented domed cover with pinecone finial, raised on ornamented conforming socle and square shaped base with foliate cartouche.
